Digging Deeper into Discipleship 201
led by Pastor Bob
An in-depth look at what it means to live as a disciple, someone who is intentional about becoming more like Jesus Christ... who desires to become more and more the person God created him to be. When you commit to growing as a disciple, you can expect to be in the midst of a spiritual battle. Our topics will include how a disciple faces temptation and tragedy. We will examine:

  • a disciple and politics
  • discuss how a disciple can share his faith in a non-Christian culture
  • look at new forms of worship
  • learn how a disciple handles church confilict
  • and above all we will learn to be servants.

This class is open to everyone.

See Through the Scriptures 301
led by Terry Butler
Explore the major themes of the Old Testament and New Testament, which are intricately tied together in a small-group study and discussion format. Law and Gospel, God's use of water, and His reaching out to His people in selfless love are three of the themes explored. Bring your Bible and explore the "big picture" of Scripture!

The Joyful Church - A Study of Philippians 501
led by Pastor Matt
Read and study about a healthy church in Philippi 2000 years ago. What can we learn from this congregation, filled with broken people who found peace in Christ? This is perhaps Paul's most joy-filled letter, and he wrote it while in prison. We will discover together how to live like Paul did: Having joy in our lives even in the midst of difficult situations.

Digging Deeper into Worship 601
led by Stephanie Maxson
As Lutherans interact with other Christians, they often struggle to explain their beliefs and practices. Although many Lutherans have learned the "what" of Lutheran doctrines, they do not always understand the "why." Based on God's Word as faithfully reflected in the Lutheran Confessions, this study will help you to state clearly what you believe.
