About Gass-Haney Funeral Home
Founder Henry Gass Sr., was born May 13, 1844, in Canton Basel, Switzerland. He came to the United States in 1866. He lived a short time in Illinois and Pennsylvania where he was employed in a furniture store, and in 1870 moved to Columbus, Nebraska, where he made his home.
